HAPPENING SYDNEY – Timelapse Video

This project is a timelapse video that showcases the beauty and vibrancy of the modern city of Sydney. Produced entirely by myself in 2016, the project aims to highlight some of the city’s spectacular views and its energetic atmosphere.

As the sole creator of the video, I took on various roles and responsibilities throughout the production process. Firstly, I captured timelapse photography sequences of Sydney, carefully selecting the locations and compositions to portray the city’s unique charm and dynamic ambiance.

In the post-production phase, I utilized my expertise in video editing and Adobe After Effects to bring the timelapse sequences to life. Through montage, I crafted a visually captivating narrative that showcased the city’s beauty and its ever-changing scenery. Additionally, I synchronized the visual movements or actions of the images with the accompanying music, creating a seamless and harmonious audio-visual experience. The color grading added richness and a cohesive visual style to the shots, further enhancing the overall look of the video.

The result is a mesmerizing timelapse video that encapsulates the essence of Sydney, capturing its modernity, energy, and breathtaking vistas.
